Don't you just love them? if you still don't know what I'm rambling about.. it's the space filling super duper (yes i just said duper) conversation saving words.
Let me enlighten you my dear loving friends.
Unless the liestener is too eager to hear every bits and dits and fits (I know exactly what you think i'm gonna say next.... but i'm not gonna say it.... SHAME ON YOU!!) of details in your conversation.... you can easily escape spelling out an embarrasing act of yours, a sexual encounter that you woulnd't like to disclose, or even a secret recipe that you would die before telling it to anybody!
Here are a couple of the phrases I use as refuge

my best bye-bye-details-fee-omik-khair-tes2al-zyada phrase... so by using it, I rather have the listener to fabricate a whole new sequence of events rather then telling it myself or having to lie about it. For instance...
7amood: haa.. kalamt el Dr 3an darajtik?
7asoon: yam3awwad.... dashait 3alaih thak elyoom.... o0 3ainik ma thshoof ella elnoor!!
I left 7amood under the impression that I didn't get the grade I wanted... but the fact is that I DID get my desired grade... but I rather not tell him because ana insaan akhaf men el 3ain!.. go on, hate me..

the famous "9ar elli 9ar" phrase
Used after the shameful news of yours have spread out to the public already... yet they are still in need for more details (which you wish to keep for yourself)... so what you do is restate everything that they already have heard, though in a boring manner using the elongated virsion of it... then seal it with "o0 9ar elli 9ar"... this way you will avoid the questioning and further requests for details coz, my son, you have bored your curious audience to death! AND... and by the end of your masra7eya they will have known that you DeLiBeRATeLY wanted to hide the details of your story.
